Happy Nutella Day!!!!

I hope you all had a great day, eating, baking or even writing about Nutella, we sure had fun here at the Frenchy Nest. We baked cookies (I shared them with a friend cause it was too much cookies), and we baked a "roule" and we even ate pur Nutella. By the end of the day the kids and I we're stuffed (I didn't even had diner, I was so stuffed!!!) Mini me was happy to help me in the kitchen, especially during the licking cleaning part

and she waited patiently for the cake to bake, while finishing some more "cleaning"

and voila, the kids had half for their snack coming back from skiing, and the other half for dessert.

Recipe for the roule :

80 gr of flour
100 gr of sugar
3 eggs separeted
Nutella

In a bowl beat the sugar and the egg yolks until pale yellow, then slowly add the flour. In another bowl beat the whites until they make soft peaks, add them gently to the first mixture. Put parchement paper on a 12"x15" baking sheet and pour the batter in it, bake for 10 min at 380F . Take the cake out of the oven and put it paper side on a damp kitchen towel and roll it. After a few minutes unroll the cake and the paper will easily be removed, spread the Nutella and roll it once more, you can dust the top with icing sugar or cocoa.

PS : If you baked with Nutella today, send Ms. Adventure Italy  a picture of what you did to the e-mail address posted on her blog, she will post a round-up of all submissions on Monday, February 7, 2011.
